This necklace set is composed to be worn as a layered trio, but can be separated into two or three necklaces in any combination.
The top layer is a simple brown suede choker ornamented with two African glass trade beads and a pendant made from a cast Zuni fetish bird and two white glass African trade beads. The separate sterling silver clasp ring provided for this necklace features a trade bead pendant. This necklace measures 15cm in length.
The second layer is composed of two strands of translucent and opaque glass African trade beads with a variety of pendants – stacked antique branch coral, vintage aquatic snail shell, antique Igbo tribe brass, and a tiny carved bone skull. The separate sterling silver clasp ring provided for this necklace features a sterling pendant drop. This necklace measures 20cm.
The base layer is entirely hand-fabricated from sterling and fine silver. The heavy textured sterling pendant features a natural 10mm Indian Mountain turquoise cabochon set in a fine silver bezel.The pendant chain terminates in four antique turquoise beads from Afghanistan. The blackened sterling silver chain measures 24cm and features a clasp ring with a vintage Bali silver pendant.
